He is 2" long and quite aggressive im leaning towards bifasciatum , he was sold as a synspilum but the stripe is in the wrong place and hes is starting to colour up with gold, orange and blue.
 
I'll say it's definitely not a synspilus. body shape looks a bit off from my bifasciatus. proportionally bifasc are a bit taller bodied that what your fish looks like. I'd lean towards one of the slightly shorter bodied species like fenestratus or guttulatus. :)
 
possibly broederhi, to high frame to be hartwegi. definately not snyspillum unless it is stunted. don't fenes. usually have more elongated bodies?
