what watt heater do i need

Im setting up my 110 gallon this weekend and im wondering what watt heater would i need to heat it up to like 80-82F? Ive heard like 5 watts per gallon then 2 watts per gallon and 3 watts per gallon. What should i go with?

I would put 2-150w heaters in the tank.

I would go with at least two 200 watt heaters.

I have two 300 watt heaters in my 90 gallon, they hardly work at all to keep the tank at 77 (approx 3 D higher than room temp)

3-5 Watts per gallon is standard. The range is to accommodate how cool or warm your house is. If you keep your house at 60 degrees, you will want more watts.

I would always encourage 3 smaller heaters over one larger one. If one breaks you aren't completely with out a heater while you replace it.
