What will a 6" knife eat?

I just bought a 6" clown knife-- he doesn't seem interested in cichlid pellets. What's the best food for him? Thanks

try blood worms and krill, my ABK eats krill and shrimp pellets sometimes. gonna try feeding him BW soon, hes about 4.5in.

Is he eating anything at all? How long have you had him? How long was he in the LFS and maybe they still remenber what they fed him.. mine was only eating live food.. but i tried colored cichlid pellets and he loved them..once he began eating i started giving him all kinds of different food.. so once yours gets use to the new surroundings and starts feeling comfortable he should start aggressively eating for u..they love to eat..

I would train it to eat pellets so that way when he gets bigger you wont be spending that much money on food for him. I have trained my clown knife to eat everything even earth worms.

you know i just started digging a new garden and the earthworms were popping up all over..and i thought about my CK and then didn't do it.. but next time i am out there{next few days snow showers} i will give my CK a worm..
