What was checking out my lungfish the other day. I didn't realize when I first bought the Lungfish, but now, i notice that one of his limp or hand or what ever you call it was a little bit shorter then the other side. Do they grow back to normal or will it stay that way? or what happen if say the whole arm was bitting off, willl it grow back? Thanx..

Yes it will. or at least it should. my lung had stumpy 'legs' when he came home and now he is fine. does he have tankmates right now? if so they may be the cause of his missing limb.

my African lung lost his fins and two legs after a little severum went mental

he's pretty much recovered but his back leg has never gone back to a point but remains about half a centimeter from it in a rounded edge, he seems fine though

good to know. the limb on my lungfish in the front look real skinny & short and i was just worry that the lungfish will never be the same again.. i'm real glad that the limb does get back to normal or at least real close to normal..
