I have a Mantis Shrimp in a 15 gallon tank. It eats frozen brine shrimp mostly, and ghost shrimp if they don't die first.

The tank is not really set for a fish to live, but Manny is a tough bastard....so he loves it.

Would a Damsel survive my sh*tty saltwater for long enough to see how the shrimp reacts??

Sweet :22_yikes:

check it...dont feed your mantis too often....sometimes they store and burry their food....it gets funky sometimes....

If you are asking if the damsel will live long enough for the mantis to kill it, that would bepend on just how bad your tank is. I'm curious as to how big Mannie is? Some tropical thumbsplitters reach 10" long. Since you are in Ga. you might try a pin perch or some other small inshore sw local fish.

they are fast
no fish

Oh no.....I'm a sad man. I don't know what did it, but when I changed some of his water.....he started acting funny and then kicked it. I got an empty tank. A sad sight.
