Some will look like the mother, some the father, many variation of somewhere in between.
If your intention is grow out what you consider to be the "best".
You should have a number of tanks cycled and at the ready, to separate the most desirable individuals.
Young managuense can be quite canabalistic (especially those fastest growing ones), and I have found when zanthic (gold morph) individuals are involved, they tend to stand out, and their normal alpha brothers and sisters may try to eat them first.
So getting them out of harms way, quickly is key if saving them, if that is your intention.
