I CURRENTLY HAVE A 30 GAL TANK WITH A CUPLE SM. CATS THAT IM GETING RID OF AND A TROPHEUS MORII THAT WAS A RESCUE. I DONT WANT TO GET RID OF HER N, IN MY EYES N ACORDING TO ALL WHO IVE ASKED, SHOULDNT PUT HER IN WITH MY JUMBO DUBOISE IN THE BIG TANG.SET UP. WHAT WILL WORK WITH HER? I HAVE A METHOD OF FEEDING THE HERBAVORS SEPRATE FROM THE CARNIVORS SO THATS NOT AN ISSUE.

well if you got a troph, you should stick with lake Tanganyikan species that are large enough not to be bothered by her. however, i think a 30 is a little small for a troph. i think more along the lines of however many gallons 400 liters is cause thats what it says in my tanganyikan book.

Donate the Tropheus to a good home and get yourself some Neolamprologus Sexfasciatus (if you don't care about breeding the SM cats). If you want to breed the SM, then a group (10-12, single group) of Mbunas (dwarfish Mbunas: Saulosi, red top Gallireya, Gephyrochromis etc would work best.

If you free the tank, 33 gal makes also a good home for shell dwellers (2-3 variants, bottom) and a school of Cyphrichromis (upper water column).

ANYBODY KNOW OF A GOOD PLACE TO GET SHELLDWELLERS OR CYPHRICHROMIS, I WAS CONTINPLATING THOSE ACT. BUT CANT FIND IN ANY LFS?
