My bro passed away and I'm probably moving so I have to sell my tank setup. I just don't know what would be a fair price.

Its a clear for life 180g 72x24x24 acrylic with a few light scratches on the left side but other than that its brand new. No bowing or yellowing. Has a center overflow with loc line outlets..

Fx6 currently plumbed with an overflow

All glass aquarium megaflow model 4 sump that I bought used and was planing on seting up but never did. It has a crack in a baffle but I sealed it with silicone. It holds water just fine. Also have a brand new return pump still in the box that cost me $120.

A ton of miscellaneous items

Extra valves for fx6 ,fittings, large pieces of drift wood, 6 foot led light, large rocks, 2 heaters, fish food, puritan, like 2 large bags of never used ceramic rings, bio balls . I also have 2 large bichirs that I have owned since 2018, a 17" endlicheri and 25" ornate.

So what do you guys think would be a fair price for this? Sorry if this post is in the wrong section.

Wouldn't it depend on the market value of something like that? It really depends on where you are located. If you had that setup here in the Toronto area of Canada, the price would be outrages. However, in Southern California there's a good market, but there's also a lot more acrylic tanks to choose from. It might take you longer to find a buyer fast. You might have to wait for the right buyer. So it just depends on your local market since that's something you don't just mail off. So the question is how much could you get for the setup in the location you are at? I would do the research to find out what a new one costs and that would be too high. I would lower the price for being used and wait and see. Then if no takers, I would continue to lower the price until someone is genuinely interested.
