what would be a good catfish

what would be a good catfish that only gets 8" and please no cheap ones.

if you have a 55 you could do a few pimpictus cats if you want a predetor. some corydorus if you have a minimim 10 gallon tank and want a vegatairian. if you have a minimum of 30 gallons and you want a 60- 120 dollar fish and a predator the gulper catfish. it can swallow a fish twice its size.

akysis vespa are cool but they are small n cheap. If its a species tank get some gulper catfish

by no cheap ones you mean you want something rare or pricey?

try one of the synodontis species like synodontis granulosa or synodontis flavitaeniata,

look around... theres tons of rare hard to find catfish to everyone's taste

plus whats its tank mates going to be like?
