What would be a good t8 light for flowerhorn for color??

At my home fh tank I use Hitachi preheat aquarium tube .it's a 18 watt tube with a pinkish colour light and I must say it brings out the best colour out of my fhs. So if it is not available where u stay then select a tube with a pink colour output. And also read some articles for flowerhorn tanks in which they recommend a pink shade light.hope this helps:)

Yea this Hitachi tube is also good for growing plants and that's what the company claims but before buying this light I would recommend you that don't buy more powerful pink light coz it will make tank look more pink. So for my 3 feet tank I use a 2 feet tube .

I use a pink light. Works best for Flowerhorn.

If you want a more natural looking light instead of a straight red/blue/etc color light, I would grab the Aqueon Colormax bulbs. They bring the color out much better without coloring the tank itself.
