I think ive finally talked myself out of chancing a red tail with my pbass.. opting for kind of a shoal of smaller catfish.. but still big enough my bass wont eat.. was thinking clown loaches but the super slow growth rate and large ones being super pricey is kind of discouraging. my question is there anything out there that fits my profile? maybe some synodontis species? I dont want to come off like im not willing to spend some money on fish, just 6-8" clowns, the two times ive seen them for sale were $60+ a peice..

btw, pbass are still small. 3-4".

Small fish as tankmate and peacock bass in same sentence... O.o :ROFL:
Nice try... Won't work. I suggest getting a larger medium sized catfish like a marbled pim or juruense.

Whats worng with small fish with pbass?:screwy:

I got a 12'' pbass with a 8'' bass with a 6'' oscar with a 9'' sen with a 8'' bullhead with a 5'' front with a 21'' arow. SOOOOOOooo........ YES!!!! you can keep small fish with pbass.

I also have 2x 6'' Occel's with a 4'' kelbari with 10x2'' cory's and 5x clown loaches.
