What would be the best canister for a 60 gallon?

I am getting a new shipment of Victorian cichlids and I am thinking about getting a new filter. If there are any ideas, please inquire. Thanks.

No, the cannister in the link has less flow rate and less area for beneficial bacteria growth. Would probably be a better mechanical filter though.

Look into the eheim 2217, it is the best value in cannister filters currently, Big als had them for 120 bucks. 2217s are rated for a 160g tank.

Get the 2217, it's the ultimate cheap canister for anything under 75Gal.

The Ecco Canisters and the 2215 lack flow, the 2217 will do it brilliantly and I guarantee you'll be glad you bought it.

I have both the Ecco 2236 and the classic 2217 while the ecco has media baskets its design allows for bypass and isnt that powerful.

Go with the 2217 if you want an all around great silent filter. If your concerned with user friendly features go with a Eheim Pro Series or Rena XP 3
