should i have 3 firemouths and 1 pink con and a blood parrot in a 29 ?

any other ideas???
 
That's a really crowded 29 gal in a few months. The BP alone could live in the 29...maybe with one FM or a pink con. I wouldn't try 4 fish in that tank. For now it could work, but when they grow, no space left.
 
C.B. just stick with your original plan of the BP and the 3 firemouths in the 29g. I think you'll be Ok with this setup until next summer. By then you'll be out of school and can get a job, make some cash to get a larger tank.

Very true. So long as you think you'll be able to upgrade later you should be fine. I guess lots of folks (myself included) think that the stocking suggestions on here are "For Life", when the reality is, we all get addicted to cichlids and all end up paying more money on more and larger tanks as time goes on...I know I sure have :)
