I have a mostly anubias tank with the exception of the big bunch of crypts on the right

i have the two large anubias in the back and a piece of anubias barteri i attached to driftwood on the left is 4 nana's bunched together

fish are 2 pair of oranage cacautuiodes
7 red eye tetras
8 swartzi corys

thanks wyld, i was thinking of adding alot more of that, ill probably move the solo nana over with the others and then get like 10 more crypts for that side

You might want to go with 8 of the bronze wendtiis and then 2 of the green wendtiis or another bright green crypt for accent.

interesting advice wyld ill see what i can get through my work tommorow

Using plants that are the same species, but different color, can attract a viewers eye into the tank, making them get lost in the tank. This causes an awe factor, which is what we strive for.

got 6 more crypts, forget the specific names, but moved the lone nana over with the rest of the bunch and now from the right piece of driftwood to the front of the glass is a big jungle of crypts with some red mixed in

also had 4 altums come to the shop, one came in with some serious fin rot and was sent back, ( i took the other three and they look pretty good) ill have to get some pics so you can id that they are true altums and not just the common scalare but they do have the very pointed mouth so im pretty sure there altums got them for a wholesale at 8$ almost 5 , with very nice long fins

wyld are these true altums

they came in with some fin rot and bacteria if you look closely because they were international from uruguay and the driver had them sit in the bags for 5 more hours than needed, to many stops at micky d's

and a few pics with the added crypts
one is really flattened in the front, so you see alot of stems
