Well I'm off from the 8th to the 25th. Was suppose to be only a week of vacation off, but they are forcing people to go to a new distribution center and work 6 days so I just said "screw you" basically and put my 2 weeks in a week before I told my new job I put it in. We already work 50-60 hours(in 5 days) easily and to work 6 days your damn crazy then to force people to go to this new center to work...not happening. Then my appendix was taken out Tuesday so my final week at my current job would be doing small piddly tasks so they just gave me 40 hours of sick pay. Probably the most moral thing this job has ever done for anybody. Glad they did it. So now I got a little over 2 weeks off instead of a week.
I had plans on resealing a 35 hex and a 180 gallon and setting up a 29 gallon among other things. Well I can't lift anything over 30 pounds for 2 weeks and really I don't think I can even lift 15 or so at this moment. Not sure if I should be twisting and such to even reseal the 35 hex. So basically I'm bored and trying to find small stuff to do. I'm not the kind to just sit and catch up on TV or something all day let alone 2 weeks!
Just wondering what you all would do if you had 2 weeks to do practically anything, but can't since your appendix was taken out. Think I'm going to test some fish equipment out and play with with the rabbit and clean a few things up around the house. Better than working for 2 weeks though in a -10F freezer, can't complain too much!
