The next day almost all his feelers were gone and he was swimming upside down!!::WHOA: I was almost going to give up on him when I decided to stick some blood worms in his mouth he was reluctant at first the started to eat it! I did this almost every hour for the next few days! and he has almost made a compleat come back!! as you can see in this Picture a few days ago!

As you can see his belly is full and his fealers are starting to comeback!!!:headbang2
This was my story!!!!!!!!!!!!! What was yours!!!:D
thanks P.N:naughty:

Great story. That's what I do with small cats also when they get sick and refuse to eat. Small cats can't go for long periods of time without eating. They grow so fast that more than just a few days without food could spell disaster.

good save I have done that with one other catfish. Its not like a catfish to ever stop eating.

:nilly:Talk about in a panic
This is what I woke up to one morning in May, 2007

This "was " a softball size Parrot Fish

Was not sure what we were gonna do, My TSN is my prize posession and the thought of something happening to her is not acceptable. At the tim she was about 22" and was living in harmony with two 6"Parrots and two 5-6" Bala (or so I thought) Apparently sh got tired of the male Parrot and decided to do away with him. Unfortunately with the shape of his body, she could get him in her mouth but she could not swallow him. after realizing that there was no chance she could swallow him and she was not able to spit him out, I knew I had to do something or I was gonna lose her
 So after some brainstorming, came up with a solution. We managed to get her into a large roasting pan ( she was rather tired at this point) and set it on the counter so I could get to her. One held her head a \nd body and I had made a type of snare that i was able to slide over the parrot and lay his fins flat and he popped right out of her mouth. Needless to say she then "freaked out" :WHOA: thrashed around jumped out of the pan with all of us frantically trying to keep her from hitting the floor :nilly: and avoiding getting stuck with her fins at the same time (kinda glad nobody was watching :screwy:) looking back it was probably a pretty comical scene
Well I guess she did learn her lesson as she still lives with the other Parrot and is perfecty happy. As long as she gets her belly rubbed when you change her water and Give her her crunchies (Hikari Massivore Delight) at dinner time.
Another disaster avoided :headbang2 and all is well in the aquatic world
