Well as the title says what would you do with a 75g tank? Give me any input, I wanna stay away from a single species or a single fish tank, but ill be open to anything.

I'd put fish in it. :)
Seriously though, I would put some nice cichlids like Jack Dempseys, Convicts, etc. Or it would make a perfect african cichlid tank.

what ever kind of fish you want.

I would turn it into a baby's crib. lol

I have african cichlids in my 75, so I am somewhat biased towards suggesting african cichlids.

comunity of larger fish.
like the sort of fish you cant keep in the "regular" comunity cause they get soo big ;)
or as previously mentioned africans!
problem i found with them is there so damn expensive and i had my tank for a year and none of the females that were holding ever had the babies so i got bored and changed to americans =P

What kind of fish do you like? Why do you care what we would do?

I'd possibly do a Lake Tanganyika tank, or a planted Amazon tank.

Within the next 6-8 months or maybe a little sooner, I'll have the same predicament. I'm upgrading most of the fish in my 75 gallon to a 120, and now I'm mulling over what to do with the 75. On the one hand, I could use it to continue to grow out my ornate longer, but I'm really leaning towards a SE Asian biotope for my clowns to grow out in a few more years till they need a bigger tank.

I'm thinking of getting a little bit more cork bark, doing a cork bark background that I can grow java moss and java fern on, trying to find another bigger piece or two of nice Malaysian driftwood. I also plan on trying out some patches of crypts here and there and maybe some other Asian plants.

For stocking, I'm thinking my 5 clowns as well as maybe another 2-3 4" or smaller clowns. Then another couple species of small loaches that can stay in the tank after the clowns have to move out, maybe a couple kuhli species and/or sids. Then I'll have a few gouramis, SAEs, and fill out the rest of the tank with barbs or rasboras.

what kind of fish you are in to. for a 75gal i would do a reef tank with clown fish in it.
or
get a grip load of apisolgramma's
or
us it as a sump for a bigger tank
or
get 4 gulpers
or
get a school tetrat's
or
planted tank with bamboo shrimp and other invert
or
you get my point....

a single/group/pair predator as i already have a cichlid community.
maybe a grammodes pair, female festae, high grade FH or a large school of exodons (20+).
