Considering converting my indoor pond into a reptile habitat. Right now it has a pond liner in it, but I am considering replacing that with rhino liner or somthing similar. It is a 2x4 structure, and pics can be found in previous threads. Bottom line, what would you do with that type of space?

Thanks,
Chris

Yep, would be an awesome monitor habitat. Ackies or some other dwarf, maybe even something a bit bigger like argus or dumeril's (I kept my dumeril's in an 8x4x2 and it was fine).

Would make a cool tortoise pen also...really depends on what you like.

i would go with a big monitor or something along those lines. There is nothing cooler than a big tame monitor.

Yeah that's true......a pair of black and white tegu's would be very cool in an enclosure like that........maybe even reds too, becoming quite a big fan of those lately.........

Tegu's look pretty promising. Doing some reading on them now. It would make for an interesting breeding project......

Since it holds water. Turtles would look great in an indoor pond. It can look like a nice piece of natural pond with floating drift wood, frogbit, etc .

You could mix it up like sliders, maps.

thats another great idea you could do live a slider and cooter pond full of the unwanted turtles that are out there
