What would you do with this 2.5 gallon?

I just moved my parabuthus liosoma from this dried up old 2.5 gallon cube because well it would look better with water in it instead of a nocturnal desert invert hiding all day just to come out for a few hours at night.

I scraped out the remaining old sealant and resealed it and now I'm thinking of the mini possibilities. I want to deck it out in plants because I can't have plants in any of my tanks (severum, convicts) and maybe a betta.

What would you guys and gals do as far as plant and fish choices?

I like the ghost shrimp. Or the cherry shrimp. No fish tho since you'd lose shrimp fry unless you had 1 or 2 otos.
