A fish with a swim bladder disorder, eats fine and swims fine unless it decides to stop swimming that's when the problems happen and it flips (usually when it's asleep).
I really feel bad and don't want to put it down, I love that fish so I'd pretty much try everything before even thinking about putting it down.

Options/suggestions are highly appreciated.

What do you feed this fish? Floating foods often adversely affect the swim bladder organ due to the recollection of air which enters their swim bladder thus their buoyancy is affected. Please post water parameters as well.

Is the tank heavily planted? I find it unusual your nitrates is low. What test kit are you using?
