So I'm discussing buying some property at a good price in MA, which to those that live around here, is a very pricey state to live in. In order to afford this property, my girl would have to move in with me, leaving no room for my 125 gal. fish tank. (believe me, I've thought of everything, in order to fit everything in, the tank has to go). She'd have to live with me because we would want to rent out the cottage on the property and I live for free in a studio apt. next to my parent's house. I would have to put it in storage in her parent's basement. In order to eventually have a nasty fish room that will hold my future 450 gal. tank (and maybe even bigger) I would need to sacrafice my hobby for the time being. Is this worth it? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

thats something you gotta call do what is going to benifit you

well I've pretty much decided to put the tank in storage, just seeing what other people would do in the situation... however nothing is set in stone yet.

We are getting a new home and I am selling my 300 gallon and just unloaded my rtg last night. None of this is by choice but my family comes first. We need the money so my situation may be diffrent than yours.

To be honest I don't know what I would do and it sucks you have to make that decision. There is always ten gallon tanks though.

to be honest, land and a house is a better investment. not as much fun, but definately more practical

As someone living in a 2 bedroom duplex filled with tanks, I couldn't agree more.

Does the girlfriend fit in the tank?
