I hope this is the best place for this question.
I was in my LFS today and looking at foods for my growing broods. The girl showed me a frozen seafood mix of cut up shrimp, mussels, squid, fish, and scallops ( I think thats all thats in it), but it was over 10 bucks for less than a pound.
I was thinking that i could buy all the ingredients cut them up and individually freeze the pieces on a cookie sheet (s) then bag it up and feed it as a prt of my food rotation. Seafood is pretty cheap here and i think i could do it for about 40 bucks or less. More initially but i would have much more food for my fish in the long run. Has anyone tried this before. any ideas suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
