Greeting Folks
Need some input from my fellow fish keepers. I have grown tired of my current stock in my 135 as well as frustrated that my Island of Doctor Moreau hybrid project. I'm going to set up half my garage as fish room and I'm going to keep a few fish that currently reside in the tank. I going to have the following tanks up and running and would like your opinions on what South or Central Americans I should stock them with.


135 gallon
90 gallon
55 gallon
35 gallon
10 gallon

Keep in mind I'm going to probably keep my 2 inch Black Belt, 3 inch Vejia.

Let me hear your thoughts?
 
Breed convicts in the 35g raise the fry in the ten. That's free feeders
I'd get some festea, JD's, red devil and fire mouths for the medium tanks and a jag or dovii for ur big tank
 
I would stick to some cichlids that would not grow out of the largest size tank and that would also more easily accept tankmates. I just don't know really where to begin with suggestions. With that many tanks, there's too much to choose from. Do you have any interest in specific species?
 
What ever setup you choose to do i believe it would be in your interest to set up multiple tanks, a larger main tank where you can house your adult fish when they mature, then a separate smaller tank for sick fish or to grow smaller fish until they are a large enough size to be introduced to the main tank.
 
I'm sticking with my black belt really like the color he/she has right now. As well as my Viejia. I like aggersive cichlids with nice colors but that don't get to big.
 
The more and more earth eaters and severums I see, the more I like them. Take some time researching these fish.

I currently have an agressive CA/SA tank where there is always action...but I doubt i am seeing my fish's true colors because of the stress.
 
Get some more Blkbelts & start breeding them. You have a good ammount of tanks for multiple generations.
 
I'd get a Trimac or another Amph for the 90. Keep the Blackbelt and the "Vieja" (a Blackbelt is also a Vieja just saying;)) in the 135.
