Ok so I am building a giant 6x3.5x4 foot lizard enclosure that will have a 12-18" substrate barrier in the bottom. But don't know what to put in it. I have had lots of experience with lizards and had a few ideas and wanted some opinions other than my friends remarks of that ones cool and oh wait that ones cool too! At every species I've looked at. Here are my ideas:
1.1 ausy water dragons for breeding
1 tegu
1 caiman lizard
1.1 egyptian uros for breeding
1.3 ornate or other small uros for breeding
1.3 frillies for breeding
1.2 ackies for breeding
All input is welcome. I don't know if the cage is big enough for a tegu but thought it would a good choice for a big lizard. Also if you know of any other species that would be good then let me know. Thnx

To be honest, it seems kind of strange to build the cage before you decide on the lizard(s). You'd be better off to pick a lizard, or lizards, that you want and build the cage based on its requirements and preferences.

If I were to choose from the listed lizards for the previously mentioned cage, I'd go with just a single frilled dragon since they can be territorial even if they're not of the same gender and that cage would be more than big enough for one but too small for two or more.

I have only made blue prints and budgeted for the tank. I have seen all the lizards listed in tammany equal or smaller size. I have seen frillies in particular bred in that ratio in a 5x2x4 tank. I've done my research and just wanted some input from other hero lovers.

They do look cool. I will have to see if I can find any. I was really hoping to get some input on caiman lizards or tegus

Caiman Lizars require water and lots of it...at the zoo around me probably bronx zoo had a 4 foot caiman lizard swimming...pretty cool looking
