What would you do if Oddball fish prices in the USA/UK etc were the same as Australian prices? ALSO importing fish yourself is NOT an option!

I want you to think carefully about whether you would still keep oddballs...

Could you still afford to collect these fish...


Prices for example...

$40 12" silver Aro......now $300
$30 8" Birchir..........now $350
$100 5" Motoro's..... now $1200
$15 2in Indo's..........now $200
$30 12" Sp.Gar.........now $450
$30 12" RTC.............now $450
$30 12" TSN.............now $300
$30 12" RCK.............now $350

These prices are pretty much rock bottom private sale prices...
(Most LFS would be much more!)

Wow...when you put it that way I feel so bad for Aussies .

I would have added an additional poll "Collect Australian fish" Because, maybe not to you, but to most of us the fish from Australia are pretty Monster and interesting man.

Is it the laws that don't allow you to import fish or something else?

What are the laws like about keeping native species? You ausies got some cool natives.

they australian goverment are extremly strick about wat u can importe thus the prices being very high and theres still heeps more fish that we cant even get in. yeah we can keeep aussie natives but i personally dont like them and think there all ugly
