what would you do with 55, yes i still cant decide what to put in there. My g/f has taken a liking to convicts since seeing some in petsmart (see my toronto heads up post)

what could i do, rather not just have breeding cons in there

i would stay away from breeding pairs of any fish. you wouldnt want to deal with the fry or the agression.

i say get a green terror two female cons with some tiger barb dither. then throw in some kind of catfish, pictus? and two firemouths thats my setup but all my fish are like 1 inch

a pleco will eat the eggs, but i doubt the fry

I would go with 3-4 cichlids... any four that are small enough... like a FM, Con, Sev, and acara maybe. Then a bottom feeder like cory cats or skunk loaches.

I have sevs in my 50 right now...

If you want to keep the pair Id put a JD in there and a small school of Clown Loaches. They will devour any eggs laid.
