I understand this is not a career advice website, But I do respect alot of the opinions here to be factual and honest.
All I read online is go to school for what you love doing. Its not as simple as that. Its hard to make a living on what I "enjoy" doing, ecspecially when there is a limit number of positions available out there.
Keep in mind im trying to go to a trade-school. 1-2 year ass. or bach. degree, so I can then begin in the field immediatly afterwards.
I have done the whole college thing in the past and got an ass. in visual communications but that degree has taken me nowhere. Business's arent looking for more advertising specialists in this economy. So im forced to re-educate.
If anybody has any advise on a good field of study, or maybee a career path you choose that has been successful. Im not too concerned with the pay starting out, but it definatly needs potential for growth.
Im currently in a sales position now. If any of you out there that are in sales, you will mostly certainly agree, its a horrible profession. Its humiliating and Im miserable when I get home everyday.
I do have a felony on my record, but its not drug related or violent or theft. But that still excludes most medical or vetrenary positions.
Any input would be excellent MFK. THANKS!
