It's in between colors, my guess it's a darker version of 7.8, so it would be above 7.8.

Bought this exact same product before. Worst product to exist, doesn’t even change colour once you put it in. Dont trust it, it doesn’t work

Well that just sucks that the new one has a different key. Looks between 7.4 to 7.8 key.

ok seachem alert fails anywhere from 3-6 months of being in the tank. How long have you had the first one?

The only reason I care is that I did a styrofoam background with hydraulic cement and it is supposed to raise the Ph. I have done three water changes to get it down but I can't see if I am making headway using these tests.
