Here is a pic of my tank. I recently had to move and packed all my water in my buckets with a bubbler and my filters to avoid shocking the fish with new water. With doing this I was in a rush to get everything set back up and forgot to get a background for my tank. My issue is that when the dining room light is off the tank is very dim where I can not see it. I am currently only running a fluorescent light. As much as I would love to upgrade to a LED light source my funds are about to go to a entex pool set up to remove some of the stock. I would like to hear what color background you guys would use to help lighten up the inside without making it too bright (I have some really shy fish) but also increase my viewing pleasure. PLEASE NOTE: The tank looks fine in this pick as the dining room light was on at the time the picture was taken.20150412_224612.jpg

I think blue backgrounds look the best.

I usually prefer black backed tanks but if your fish are shy and you want to see them more defo go with blue

Blacks better for ebjd's imo my mates got a couple in a black back tank and they really pop with colour
