I pretty much sold most of fish, well really just the cichlids LOL. I still have whats in my 300 gal (minus the Oscar, which is by himself in a 75) in the 300 gal One silver, Florida Gar, and Lima Shovelnose. Thinking about buying a Black from a vendor for $175 and grow him out in my 155 since its empty due to selling most of the other fish. You guys think its a good deal, just on the fence right now, whats everyone think?

Well it is a good deal in this season but the price might be decrease in the early summer and spring.

Yea I know it does decrease a bit in the spring not really to worried about price just kinda seeing if everyone thought it was a decent deal for the season, what to do decisions decisions lol

Maybe sleep on it for a couple weeks?

How big is the black? There was a 10" black at the LFS not too long ago for $175. I also picked up a 20" a couple of weeks back for $200. But really though, if you like the fish, the price doesn't really matter.

Very True :D its a 6" little fella

What are the dimensions of your 300g? Keeping a pair of arowana does not have a high success rate, but you have the two tanks to separate them if needed, so you can only find if it will work by giving it a try.
