In the works on getting a large aquarium in the next year or 2,
Tank size will be ;
10ft x 4ft x 4ft (at this stage but is subject to change)
I at least want an Asian Aro in the tank but would you guys have or add??
Thanks guys

I’m a catfish lover so I’d add a group of lima shovelnose catfish to begin with.

or would going larger in tank size open up more options?

Going with a bigger tank will always open up more options.

Tank size would work for an Asian Aro, just make sure they are legal to keep in the country you’re living in ;)

As for additions, what about some rays for the bottom???

ideally, though I really like the look of a tilled bottom, and I'm not sure that suits with rays...
but I've always loved the look of rays

Guppies! Just a load of guppies... Imagine the numbers :D

Asian aro sounds good. Personally a large group of mid-water fish such as denison barbs, large tetras or other medium-big barbs would create a stunning effect. :)

Discus and rays would look nice. That’s what I’d suggest.

Saltwater predator tank, with big lionfish, triggers, grouper

Or for fresh:
CA cichlids such as vieja, all-male tank

I like the saltwater idea...
