I have a 19" fire eel that I want to get rid of. I just wanted to know what you guys feel would be a fair price. He is active durring the day will hand feed, eats frozen shrimp/tilapia stuffed with pellets and has been treated for internal parisites (prazipro). The reason I'm thinking about getting rid of him is he is a PIG and steals the food ment for my tigrinus if I don't block him, and thats not an easy task. The way he eats I expect him to be a huge eel in the future, I've had him for about 6 months and he has grown 3"+ and lots of girth.

i would keep him. but i got mine 18" for $40.

i just bought a 12-inch fire at an lfs in kc, missou for $70. we can't find them in wichita, so i had to travel to kc, which is a 3 hr drive. price is relative to availibility in your local market. i think $70 was too much, but difficult to find, so i had to get it.

Id pay like 7 bucks and thats only if I was keeping a tank of asian fish which Im not.....
