Hey all, a local Facebook fish page has this 180 gallon for sale. Just tank and stand, he's asking $500. What would you pay for it? I offered him $300 but he said he would just keep it for thatImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1392860855.316076.jpg

That was my thought. Another guy on craigslist had a 5 year old 210, tank stand, 2 heaters, and 2 XP4s and he wanted $1,100. Said the filters alone were worth $800. I was like I'd give you like $500 and he told me I was crazy that he WOULD get what he was asking... Lol

I wouldnt pay more than $250
 
Idk? If he would take $250-$300 I'd buy it but anything over that IMO isn't worth it

Call your local store, to get a brand new glass 180gal, I think you'd get it for what you're willing to pay for that old thing. Plus with glass, depending how it was stored and how long it's been dry you have to reseal it. Now if it was acrylic, it's be better, you can always buff it as long as it wasn't store outdoors exposed to UV rays! Good Luck!

I wouldn't spend more than what you offered. Even that is a bit high...if the stand was nicer, I could see $500 (that's what I paid for mine with a few extras thrown in).
