okayy im planing to get a aqua tech 30-60 power filter. for my 55 gallon which is running on a fluval 305 canister filter. i just wanted to add more filtration but idk what way to set it up?

the problem is that i only have one open space you see there above.

that space between the tank and the wall may be to small for the aqua tech to fit in there so yeah.

This is my setup right now

this is choice number 1. the fluval 305 output and input to the right and the aqua tech on the left.

choice number 2. the aquatech by the fluval input

All im asking is how should i set this up? either choice 1 or 2 if you got any other ways please tell me.

I have the same with one of my tanks. I would scrap the idea of using a hob and just get a canister. I would position the inlets for both canisters at the very ends.

I personally would go with the eheim classic or ecco. Since you already have a 305 on there you need not get the biggest model. I honestly don't see how a aqua tech 30-60 will be of much help, I'd rather spend a little more for something better. I would recommend aquaclear but don't know if you got enough clearance.

ahhh man i was willing to just throw in that hob filter but ok i'll just try save up my money to get a canister. thanks guys. but it might take awihle to get a good canister im only young i dont work or anything. -___- lol
