what wrong my pleco

he wont eat he just sit there all day and wont eat the alde wafers i put in

what species of pleco is it? How long have you had it? How long has it not been eating? What is your tank set up and parameters?

hes a common and about 3 inches long ive just noticed it the past cople of days and my water parms are fine i just had it tested 2 days ago and its a 10gal set up

have you tried feeding anything else. He was definately feeding for you before?

i have tryed veggies and he didnt like em but i will try some lettice

How long have you had him? Chances are he is scraping up his own algae and feeding on leftover food from other fish. You won't always see him actively feeding.

Or he doesnt know the algae waffers are food and hes just eating off the glass and any excess food.

if you want them to eat prepared foods a little trick is to just push the tablets into other foods, easy to do with courgette and cucumber etc. Feed when its light out time, thats when they feed best, at night.

thats what i do but here lately i forget to turn out the light and he use to eat when they was on but i guess he has gone nocturnal on me now
