so my motoro ray haven't been eating the past few weeks and i noticed some white stuff around its disk and I have two other rays that are doing perfect what should I do20160402_100730.jpg

That sand looks sharp. What are your water parameters? How long have you had it?

it's torpedo beach sand had the ray for over a year I do 2 40% water change a week 180 gallon tank all the other rays are doing fine though should I add salt

I'd rule out the sand.
What are the parameters? Any new tankmates? Any changes in food offered?

no new tank mates I know that my leo/motoro can be pretty aggressive at times no change in food I feed shrimp tolpia krill and worms

Don't do large water changes when a ray is stressed, it only compounds the situation. I would do 10% twice a day or 20% once a day.

If your other rays are fine it's likely not parameters, though it could be. Check if there is ammonia or nitrite in your water.

First thing, divide the fish so it is by itself. Some salt may help, but don't do too much and definitely don't start adding medication without identifying what's up. Post some more pictures for us to examine, it looks like maybe a fungal or bacterial infection. Right now stress is your worst enemy, so keep lights off, make sure you aren't spooking him often, and try feeding live worms or ghost shrimp.

That's strange, I will defer to the experts here. I don't know if it's disc rot or ammonia burn or just another ray chewing on him. I'd assume it's not ammonia burn because your other rays would be effected. Hopefully someone else has seen something similar and can chime in.
