What you dont like about your country /states laws concerning Fish!

you from keeping certain fish ...


I really cant complain about New Jersey as we can legally keep stingrays and piranhas here.

Im just pissed at the Lacey Act which we all know prohibits us US fishkeepers
from keeping an asian arowanas.

I hate MN native laws, you can't collect your own native game fish without a permit, but you can eat them every day. WTF?

I dont like Texas cause I cant club baby harp seals here. J/k. I dont like the fact that they consider alligator gars to be nuisance fish here. They catch and kill them. Psychotic I tell ya.

Why would they kill this fish? It takes 50 years to make a trophy Gar! I think cowboys are a nuisance, they should catch and kill those!

I agree. think of how long it takes to kill a gar with a rusty old truck. Or a BMW with a custom gun rack.

I don't have to many issues with my state. In Michigan you can keep pretty much whatever you want besides Asian aros and Snake heads.

As long as I can keep rays though I'm happy.

FYI, the Lacey Act isn't what's making Asian arowanas illegal in the U.S., it's the 1976 listing under the Endangered Species Act. If you have CITES documentation for your Asian arowana, you comply with the Lacey Act but not with the ESA.
