What You Got In Your FX5???

I'm setting up my first FX5 and I was just going to go with sponges and biomax basically. Maybe even some bioballs,............ what do you all have and recommend?? Thanks!

top layer= carbon 2nd layer is a filter pad and ammonia removal rocks (for now until the filter stabilizes) and the bottom layer has a polishing pad with bio ring tube things.

Mine top tray filled my prefilter & biomax, and bottom trays with biomax only. So far so good. It provides an excellent flow. The best filter that I have had.

prefilter in top tray and other two trays are bio max, iv heard this is the best combo. the other fancy medias are not as effective compered to bio max. everything is good however.

if u want to go my route u will need 6 boxes of biomax and 2 boxes of prefilter. each basket holds approximately 1500 grams
