Ello every one how you doin and happy new year.
Right I'm thinking about getting a bgk, my tank is 130g and my stock is 3 geos,2 pictus cats, and 2 oscars one about 3" and the other about 7".

What u think will it be ok or not worth trying

cheers

I would not add the BGK, just for the fact that you have a 7'' oscar.

He may be 7" but all he does is hide all the fish in the tank are new in there so no terrotory has been taking.
I won't be changing my fish again I have gone from having African cichlids for years to American jags and Midas. So this time I'm hoping for a calm peaceful tank also I love oscars

They are peaceful to an extent.
I just went ahead and threw all cichlids out the window.
Alot more peaceful.
Oh pbass don't count:D.

Yeah they are compared to alot of cichlids but I have never seen oscars attacking fishaybe I have been lucky in past

the oscars might beat the crap out of the BGK if you add one.

I've got my (now 8") BGK growing out in a 130 g tank. Remember they get big (18" or so). Once he's bigger he's going in the 250 g with the 2 grown Oscars and I know they'll leave him alone. My 6 Oscars (not speaking for all Oscars) are super easy to get tankmates for. I can put about anything in with them and if the new fish isn't going to attack them all will be fine. Even the smallest fish I can put in with every one of my Oscars and they act like they don't even see it. You're pretty fully stocked now as it is. If it were me I'd find a bigger BGK or grow that one out (they grow fast) and get rid of all the others except the 2 Oscars and add the BGK to the tank. But that's me :-)
