Hi I have a 5in female festae that I want to breed once I find a suitable male. But here's the catch I also have a 6-7in male jag that wasn't looking to good so I put him in my qt near the female festae. She colored up instantly and she is beautiful. They are both showing a considerable amount of interest in the other and they have me thinking of letting them spawn. I would rather wait until I find a male festae since hybrids are... Well hybrids and looked down upon by some. I'm interested because although I've been in the hobby for a while now this would be my first batch of fry. Any thoughts ? I would like to hear both sides.
