IN A LEGAL STATE!
Just got back from Petsmart:D oh yaaa, went in to buy a Rene xp3 canster filter, broughtin the print out from big al's, they had it for 89$ petsamart had it for 179$, got that and .. the rena filestar zeolite amminio remover,petsmart had it on sale for$4.99... big al's had it for 3.29.. and bought the rena bio- chem stars, petsmart had it on sale for 12.99.. but big al's had it for..$8.29, bill came out two 200 and somethin, my bill was $109.95:WHOA: .... wow!! what a savings!:headbang2 .. and if it wasnt for this site , i would of just been anotha sucker:irked: buying petsmart's inflated prices, thanks to those on this site that passed on the this deal petsmart has!!
 
Yea I tried that with an ac filter just to test the waters and I asked them if they price changed and they said yes. So I showed them the magazine that had the filter in it and they were like well we can't do that you should just order from the magazine...:confused: .

How do you reply to that??Do you put the stuff own on the counter....Then ask for their name....And say you will notify Corporate headquarters for not being able to do the price match???

or jus go on the petsmart website, usually its cheaper on the site then it is in the store and they price match there own website i know for sure.

Are all their store obligated to do this and how, exactly, do you need to go about the process.

Just to be sure this morning i called i 1800 customer service # and spoke to this lady, this is what i said woed for word, ''i know you guy's price match your own web site, but do u also pricematch other web site prices? her exact words were ''yes'', as lonmg as the date isnt ran out and you have proof of the price(printout), i thanked her ,hung up and started printing out deals.lol, when i went to pay at regester, the girl yelled for the manger, i had all my print outs on the boxes of the stuff i was buying, then she says '' hes got some of those internet things''... i started to think oh **** here we go, but when the manger came over he , said are u sure this is the right model, of xp3, i told him , theres only one rena xp3 man, i told him i know u hate to do it , but policy is policy, ..(with the backing of tha lady on the phone early,lol, he looks at me , knowin im being a smart ass, and as hes ringing up my discounts , says, '' no its a store curtacy''' i said thats not what helln in corprat customer service said, then he gave me a look like oh ya, then with a smile , he said ''corperate office can kiss my ass'', i thought damn that would of been his job if i was a under cover, for pestmar, i laughed, as i picked up my filter and headed home. as easy as that , it is there policy n ot a curtcy!, thanks again to this form,

I envisioned all of that happening, good on you buddy.

If all you American chaps get word around about this properly, they will be out of pocket very quickly.
