After lurking through the media lounge I'm thinking about adding 5 clowns to my mix but concerned I might be on the tad overstocked side...thoughts?

What size tank and what do you have in it? Keep in mind that clown loaches eventually get too big for some tanks.

Tank stock and size to the left, what I failed to mentioned is that it's filtered by three xp3s.

IMO get rid of the tiger barbs and get some clowns

Love the Albino Tiger Barbs as they really add color. And in the numbers I keep them in they just stick to themselves and for the most part actually form a school. I say for the most part because there is always a secondary school of 4-5 TBs away from the main school. I call these guys the outcasts

So no, I'm not getting rid of anything in my tank to be able to house them. The Barbs don't mess with anything in the tank and my ZZ eel hangs with my yoyos and my Peacock likes to bury himself under the sand.

Updated my response, for some reason I read that has tiger loaches...was like...no, no tiger loaches...

I agree you'd have to get rid of something to house the loaches comfortably

They will be just fine. Clown loaches will actually school with tiger barbs. They both kind of adopt each other into their schoals. It will be fine, just keep water changes up and all will be just fine.
