Whats a 1" flowerhorn fry worth?

Hell, probably a dollar at most. Wait until they get to 3" and you might be able to ask for $15 retail, $5 wholesale.

Most people sell them from $2 - $7 each. It depends on the quality of the parents. I would think $2 would be what to expect. You can look under the classified section. A guy just sold all of his for $2 a pop.

Well it depends on the parents. I paid 75 for two, so a little more than 30 bucks. If the 2 fry turn out anything like the parents, I will make four times that amount off of 1 fish. Look at the picture and tell me what you think. Are the fry worth it?

If they parents of the frys are lowgrades, i wouldn't even buy them for a penny each.

However like Musha stated, if the frys are from both MP parents, I'd pay a good $$ for them. Even if the ones don't turn out as nice as the parents it's ok since if you breed them in the future, you might get the parents characteristics.

3" for $5 wholesale for LFS grade FHs. Some 3" FHs go for $500+;)

I got all my 3" for prices ranging between 50$ to 70$. That's big money when you convert to Indian rupees. Reason being in the past i have spent money on Flowerhorns that were just 1" in size coz they came cheap. Obviously when they grew up, they turned out to be not so great.

Its a wise choice to spend hard earned money on quality pet. The quality of their parents will show in the young ones very clearly if they are at least 3".

Good luck
