Whats a frontosa worth to you

New England prices are high - but it all depends on where it's from.
If it was ordered, anywhere between $100 and $200.

If it was a dropoff, you may snag it for $20-$40.

It all depends on where the fish came from.
 
Depends on species..

Burundi or just 7 stripe.. Maybe 70.00 or so.

Rarer variants I wouldn't be able to afford but could go up to a couple hundred if not more for 1 10" fish

Ok i will stop in tonight and see what kind it is and if it's really worth it
 
I am not sure how much I would pay, depends on the quality. They are great cichlids, in mint condition maybe a $100. But if I had to have him, then I have to have him. So whatever price. Come on it is only money.
 
my LFS has 1 in at abouts the 10-12inch mark priced £75 (so whats that $145 - $150) its just the cheap type as it was a bring back from there stock (thats what was told who nos, not me), its not been in there that long, say about a week now there is a "sold" on the tank, if some 1 wants it they will have it.

damn. in sd, there worth over 500 bux if its nice quality. they easily sell for 399.99 all day here in sd at the right size. small ones are small ones of course. but if ur asking ME, i wouldn't pay a penny, iono why i dont feel any attraction to this type of fish.
 
I'd easily pay $100 for one that size, since they are slow growers and really beautiful fish!
the problem is that, as a student, I don't always have $100 to spend...:(
