I always buy the one from wal-mart its rated for 60 gallons and it has 2 pumps in it. It lasts a few years but when it breaks i buy a new one and put the broken one back in the box and bring it back. Out of the 6 i had i only paid for 2 lol

Castro, you are whats wrong with the world. no-lol

OP, I would go for the Rena if I was shopping an LFS. The Whisper is good in the bigger models. I recommend the Coralife Luft. It is an unassuming brown color and has looked the same for many years but the design is tried and true and it will make 7.0psi. It is around $60 online but it will be the last air pump you will buy. Rebuildable and the output is controlled by a rheostat rather than slowing the bellows. Check it out.

I'm looking for a good air pumpas well but I want something that is powerful for a lot of flow with a large 10"-12" round airstone. What would you guys recommend? I want it sort of as my center piece in my 210g and it will produce a great amount of water flow. Been looking for years and never found the right set up I want.

Check out www.jehmco.com. They have an air pump for any size effort you need. They will also help you select the right one.

I have the fusion 700 powering a 2 foot long air wand, it produces nice even bubbles and is quiet as can be. I chose it because it was cheap at the time but I would not hesitate to buy another. I have one output capped off though to send more pressure to the one since the wand only has one input.

Nothing but good things to say about tetra wisper, i have the 60 and 100 running 5 tanks and in my opinion i could add another. There wicked quiet if put on a hard flat surface.

19.99 for the 60 and 29.99 for the 100 is what i payed.
