Who here can point me in the right direction for a great book on SA and CA Cichlids. I'd like to read up as MUCH AS POSSIBLE on the Jack Dempsey, Green Terror, and Oscar... So anyone got a link to a book I could order or whatever. Thanks!

Baensch Atlases are great. You will refer to them again and again and again.

Tetra makes a series of small books called "A Fishkeepers Guide to". The South American Cichlids and/or Central American Cichlids volumes would have everything you needed.

Or.. none of those fish are uncommon in the hobby, so use Google and read online. Fishbase.org, ACA, cichlidae.com are just a very few of the sites out there that could have information.

Hope that helps. Good luck!

Save the money unless you absolutely need to have a book. The internet is a great source of information just stick to reliable sources and hobbyists.

south american ciclids by ad konings.

I have several CA cichlid books, and belive me some of the stuff they write does not make any sense or just plain too old and non-updated.
you better off asking questions from websites like MFS, ***********, cichlidmadness, aquamojo, etc......
