what's a good fish to buy?

i got rid of my bichir and now is looking for a mean fish. I thinki might add a jardini, but if any one of you MFK got a better meaner fish please offer idea. Thanks

75 gallons, is a big small for any arowana.

125 minimum, but only for 18 months

i cant help you though, maybe get a school of predatory fish. like piranhas or exodons

Exodons are an amazing fierce shoaling fish. My buddy has like 30 of them in a 75 gallon and watching them eat is better then going to the movies (I know, hard to believe...).

i schoal of exodons or parahna is your best choice. theres no chance youll be able to keep an aro in your tank

Haha dont suggest a red tail to him he has a 75G thats a stupid suggestion. Also silver dollars get oo large fora 75G given they need to be in quite a large shoal and are very very acive.
If its going to be a species tank theres all sorts you could get like a red tail wolf fish, maybe an Aba Aba but thats bit of a silly suggestion since they get very large. Could get Thalassophryne amazonica, a pair of dwarf snakeheads or one of the smaller species that get 12" max. A Cephalosilurus fowleri maybe, freshwater morays or Echidna rhoduchilus (ad a little salt shouldnt be a problem if a species tank) same goes for so called freshwater sole or Brachirus panoides (i think). Im sure there are plenty other things you could keep too, just a few off the top of my head all ofthe above are best in a species tank.

if you have absolutely nothing else in the tank, get a flowerhorn, red devil, or midas. even the cheapest, ugliest one will be filled with personality and be mean as can be, chances are. there common as can be, and you could find at any store.
