well i let my buddy borrow the pole that broke about 2 weeks later. Gonna go out today and get the permit and some new gear. Gonna go out sunday since its gonna be so nice and give it a go.

When you go buy a fishing rod in Holland then there are a few basic rules about the rod. The rod itself should be about 2feet bigger than your body length. If you buy a smaller rod you are limiting yourself with casting.
I'f you buy a bigger rod then you might injure your back on the long run.
