my indoor pond filter sux! Have to daily vacuum and I only have 2 fish in a 360g .The one i have i got from Lowes "garden treasures' or something equally lame (supposedly up to 800g ...lol).Anysuggestions of a good one that can be bought online ? thanks for any advice :)

That is cheaper than I could make one.

Thanks but does anyone know a good one theyve actually used ? Dont mean to sound sacastic but Im supicious about 'cheap/reasonably priced ones' (made that mistake already) .Looking for something dependable, easy to maintain but does a 'kick -butt' job at the same time.Looking at a $200-$300 price range - I dunno I just hate buying equiptment that dissapoints :(.Any product reviews? (whats good and not good?)Ehiem makes good stuff maybe i'll look into that.

Why dont you try making your own from a barrel or something it looks pretty simple. Ive seen them being sold in Chatuchak market in thailand, they ranged from small 5 litre barrels to huge ass chemical ones, like twice the size of an oil drum.

I have used 33g pickle barrels that are made from food grade plastic

well i was frustrated so todday i bought a 1,300 ghh pump to fit that filter I had -Holy **** if it didnt blow the hose off the filter (fire hose action -water everywhere).Needless to say ,was a bad day.I would try a DIY but would rather not at this point deal w/ the hassle- just wanna buy something that works
