Hey MFK! What do you guys think a good price for a 3"ish red tail catfish would be? I really want one and the only place around me that has one its 4" and $40, go for it or no?

I don't know how common they are in your area, but the LFS I go to has 2" for $9.99 and 3-4" for $19.99.
Well this place that they have it at has always had overpriced fish and some not. i bought a lima from $30 at 3"ish but i also got a FH for $7 at 2". So there's some good and some good prices but I'm in Michigan and im pretty sure they're pretty common but im not sure
